Music fosters social connections, boosts enjoyment, and provides a foundation for lifelong participation in music, regardless of any potential career path. Whether it’s pursuing music professionally or simply enjoying it for fun, Delta’s music curriculum equips students with the skills and appreciation to enrich their lives with music.

Our curriculum emphasises hands-on learning, equipping students with the skills to sing, play instruments, and participate in musical activities. Delve into the world of music through active and passive listening, exploring a variety of sounds and genres. Learn to play simple melodic instruments and percussion, building confidence and musical expression.

We hold an annual music festival, a highlight where primary and secondary students come together to share their passion and perform in front of a live audience.

There’s also an opportunity to perform at various events throughout the year, from conferences to celebrations. We have recording studios across the Trust, giving students the opportunity to take musical creations to the next level.
